AODA Multi-Year Accessibility Plan

INTRODUCTION:
CannaPiece Corp.’s multi-year accessibility plan (the “Multi-Year Plan”) is designed to support the principles and requirements set by the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (“AODA”).
The Multi-Year Plan outlines CannaPiece Corp.’s compliance with AODA and its commitment to fulfilling its obligations of ensuring that its premises and services are accessible to all Ontarians.
STATEMENT OF COMMITMENT:
CannaPiece Corp. acknowledges its legal obligations under AODA and is dedicated to implementing and upholding the standards set forth in the legislation to meet the needs of its employees and customers with disabilities and remove barriers to accessibility. CannaPiece Corp.’s commitment to accessibility extends to all facets of the organization, including but not limited to its products, services, facilities, and communication channels.
CannaPiece’s plan shows how it will play its role in making Ontario an accessible province for all Ontarians. The plan is to be reviewed and updated at least once every five years. CannaPiece trains every person as soon as practicable after being hired and provides training in respect of any changes to the policies. CannaPiece maintains records of the training, including the dates on which the training was provided and the number of individuals to whom it was provided.
To fulfil its commitment to accessibility, CannaPiece Corp. pledges to:
- Prevent and Remove Barriers by identifying, preventing, and removing barriers that may impede the full participation of people with disabilities in the organization, where possible.
- Provide Training by ensuring that its staff is adequately trained on accessibility-related matters, providing them with the knowledge and tools necessary to serve all members of the public.
- Use Accessible Communication by communicating with individuals in a manner that takes their accessibility needs into account, providing information to them in accessible formats when requested.
- Comply with AODA Standards by striving for compliance and continuous improvement in accessibility.
- Offer Feedback Mechanisms by establishing accessible channels for individuals to provide feedback on its services and accessibility efforts and responding to inquiries in a timely and accessible manner.
- Promote Accessibility Awareness by actively promote accessibility awareness within the organization.
CannaPiece understands that achieving a fully-accessible Ontario requires ongoing effort and collaboration. As a company, it is committed to working with the government, persons with disabilities, and other stakeholders to drive positive change.
This Statement of Commitment will be regularly reviewed and updated to reflect CannaPiece’s progress in meeting the accessibility needs of all individuals. CannaPiece is dedicated to achieving and maintaining a high standard of accessibility and embraces the spirit of AODA as a guide for its actions and decisions.
